We visited museums and private collections, schools and homes to learn about the life, traditions and clothes of the Boiks. You can read more about them here.

In the article by “Ukraїner” we came across the phrase of one of the heroes of the material:
“When you are doing something authentic, it seems that some supernatural forces are helping you. I can see how my life is becoming better. The more I delve into the past, the more clearly I can see the future.”
These trips brought a lot of inspiration to our creativity. The developed patterns have been reproduced in this series, but the most is ahead because the main work is just beginning.
The series consists of two jackets, a coat, one skirt, and five dresses.
Materials: wool, cotton, velvet ribbons, feathers, handmade woven fabric.
Embroidery: machine, patterns from Boyki gorsyk and motifs from the decor of chests.
The series was presented at an exhibition in Toronto, Canada, on November 5, 2023, where I told guests about my experience in studying the culture and clothing of the fighters. Many guests had roots in these lands.
